Divyangjan Cell

The Divyangjan Cell was constituted to address the needs and promoting the welfare of students with disabilities


OBJECTIVES
  • Ensure that the college infrastructure and facilities are accessible to students with disabilities.
  • Offer tailored academic support and resources to meet the specific needs of differently-abled students.
  • Facilitate access to assistive technologies and learning materials in accessible formats.
  • conduct awareness programs to sensitize the college community about the challenges faced by differently-abled students
  • Promote understanding and empathy among faculty, staff, and students.
  • Provide counseling services to address the academic, emotional, and social needs of differently-abled students.
  • Establish mentorship programs where faculty and senior students can guide and support differently-abled students.
  • Inform and assist differently-abled students in applying for scholarships, fellowships, and other financial aids.
  • Ensure that these students are aware of and can access the financial support available to them.
  • Establish a robust grievance redressal mechanism to address and resolve issues faced by differently-abled students.
  • Ensure a non-discriminatory and confidential approach in handling grievances.
