WELCOME TO THE POST GRADUATE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY

The department of history is the first post graduate department of our college started in the year 1964, M.A. History course was started in the year 1979. Eminent scholars like Dr. M. Gangadharan, Dr. Kesavan Veluthat and Professor P. P. Sudhakaran had worked in the department in the yesteryear’s.The department has excellent team of teachers headed by Dr. Priya P. Presently there are ten faculty members working in the department.The department offers BA History and M.A. History courses.
